LAMBLEY LANE 16 _AFTER 1200X800

Lambley Lane

The initial phase of works to this private, domestic property involved significant bulk excavations to address level conflicts across external areas. This then progressed to a four-phase property renovation.

Project Value £200k

The Challenge

The tight site had poor access to the front and rear gardens, which were circa 3m about the driveway level. Access to the drive was required throughout the work

The Doherty Solution

Our solution to the above challenge was to use a combination of loading towers and mechanical lifting equipment to ensure the least possible impact on the parking facilities, which remained in use for the client.

  • Phase 1: Used high-quality natural sandstone products for paving and incorporated a water feature, a pergola with a solid roof, and a high-end external store
  • Phase 2: The font garden landscaping was secured with a series of high-end composite decking lily pads sat over a water course on the property boundary
  • Phase 3: A high-end summer room (heated and lit) was built to link the main house and annex, with aluminium bifold doors at either end, flat roof lights, natural sandstone paving, and exposed internal brickwork.
  • Phase 4: The external store was extended and converted into an insulated home office, incorporating more windows and doors, power, heating, and lighting
